BLIMEY, AN UPDATE!

Amazingly, loads of people still want to come and see Fred Wedlock perform. There may well be an element of  "Surely, he can't get away with it much longer can he?" involved, and so, especially for those people to whom he has sworn since Christmas to update his gig list "first thing tomorrow", here it is at last.

As usual only the public ones are detailed - most of his private clients want to keep quiet about it.

Last November and December Fred was acting and singing in a wonderful play called "Mrs Gerrish's Christmas Stocking" with the brilliant Ministry of Entertainment (www.ministryofentertainment.co.uk). Judging by the number of sold out nights and glowing write-ups lots of other people enjoyed it too, so there's a good chance it will be on again this year. Watch the space for November and December.

Fred released a CD at Christmas. "FESTIVE FRED" was recorded live last Christmas at a concert in a Somerset village. In the spirit of the season it includes some old favourites, some new ones, a few surprises and even a couple of tracks of stories. Full details can be found in "Recordings".

On quite a few songs Fred is accompanied by a wonderful Folk/Jazz group called Three Piece Suite - www.campionmusic.co.uk - and a very enthusiastic audience.

Many people wanted it signed. This can prove a problem if you try to sell it at a Carr Boot but, if you'd like any of Fred's recordings defaced, please send the covers back and he'll be happy to oblige.

Recordings (click here!) will give you a full list of Fred’s recorded works and prices

Information (click here!) will give you the usual collection of half-truths and old photos he laughingly calls “publicity”. You’re welcome to download anything you fancy.

Unfortunately most of Fred’s shows these days are private functions – after-dinner, clubs etc – but now and again he escapes to play Arts Centres, Folk Clubs, Village Halls and Festivals (to which the general public are admitted at their own risk), and will be happy to provide details by phone or e-mail.
